Treating Facial Lines with BOTOX

When was it that your facial lines began to bother you? For most of us, it is something that happens quite suddenly. Since the aging process is so slow and insidious, we usually do not notice that we are aging until we compare our current appearance with an old picture. Or we may run into someone who we have not seen for a long time and they make a comment on the fact that we look a lot older. No matter when your facial lines began to bother you, it is likely true that you would like to get rid of them. Thankfully, BOTOX® is able to do just that.

BOTOX® has proven to be a reliable cosmetic treatment for many years. It can treat facial lines and help a person to get back some of their youth.

You may be wondering what you need to do in order to get these treatments. The process is very simple. You can begin by scheduling a consultation at our office. When you come in for your first consultation, we are going to ask you about the things that you do not like about your appearance. If it is determined that dynamic wrinkles are the main problem, we can likely treat them using BOTOX®.

Sometimes when new clients come into our office, they do not like the wrinkles on their face. However, they are dealing with static wrinkles. Static wrinkles are different than dynamic wrinkles and require a different treatment. So, the first thing we need to do is determine that dynamic wrinkles are causing your facial lines, and then we can move forward.

During the consultation, we are also going to ask you about your health. Thankfully, the vast majority of people out there qualify for BOTOX® treatment. It is safe and effective. However, our team will still need to make certain that you are a good candidate.

During a typical BOTOX® treatment session, the solution is skillfully injected into the facial muscles that are causing your facial lines. Most individuals report only minimal discomfort during this non-surgical treatment.

It usually takes about a week or so in order for you to see the full effects of the BOTOX® treatment. The results may last for about four months. The good news is that you can simply return to our office for follow-up treatments to maintain your results.
